EFI and Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. launched the Fiery IC-414 controller for the new Konica Minolta “bizhub” C754/C654 MFPs. These MFPs will support office workgroups with high-quality color, automated workflows, and productivity-boosting tools. The system is based on the Fiery System 10e platform and offers multiple ways for mobile device users to print from their smartphones and tablets.

A major problem with old scanners such as the top of the line Heidelbergs is that software to control these scanners no longer runs on modern OSes. But that has changed, although Lion support is still in the pipeline.
